There are many ways you could support the work of QVA:
Or, you can make a financial contribution in one of the following ways:
1. Make a donation by cheque
Any donation however large or small is very welcome – please fill out our donations form and send it with your cheque payable to Quaker Voluntary Action (not QVA) to: Irena Pearse, 7 Nascot Street, Watford, Herts, WD17 4YB. If you are a UK tax payer, it would add an extra 28% to your donation if you were to fill out the Gift Aid declaration too (this is found on the form).
2. Make a donation by bank transfer
You can transfer your donation directly to our bank account. Please include your name in the reference section and drop us an email to let us know. Thank you.
Our bank details are: Quaker Voluntary Action, Triodos Bank, Sort code 16-58-10, Acc No. 03269501
3. We Still Want 500 Quakers!
Our ongoing funding needs could be met by just one person from each Quaker Meeting in Britain pledging £3 per month. (Larger pledges are also welcome!) If this is something you’d be willing to commit to for a year or more, please complete our donations form and sign the Gift Aid declaration if you are a UK taxpayer. Many thanks.
4. Support from Meetings
Do consider asking your Meeting to make one of their monthly collections for QVA each year. We can provide publicity material to supplement the information Meetings already receive about QVA in our annual mailout. You might also invite a member of our team to come and talk about QVA to your Local or Area Meeting. Please get in touch with us for more information, and printed versions of our publicity! Thank you.
5. Give As You Earn
You may make a donation through ‘payroll giving’ by letting your employer know which organisation you wish to donate to. CAF will do the rest and add the tax benefit to your gift.
Thank you for your support of QVA!
Previous QVA appeal
QVA’s 3-year joint appeal for Ramallah Friends Meeting peace-building ministry and for QVA’s work in Palestine & Israel is now closed. It was a tremendous success raising in excess of £56,000 and we thank everyone who supported it. Here is the former QVA Appeal Leaflet for information only. The appeal is now closed.
